In this lesson we explain what the keyswitch does on an Allen Bradley PLC and more importantly, how you can accidentally break your machine with it.

The key switch has three positions. RUN, REMOTE, and PROGRAM but the REMOTE position has two modes, REMOTE RUN and REMOTE PROGRAM making a total of four modes.
