In addition to this course, the Industrial Controls Course has the foundational knowledge you need to to understand how the components inside a control panel work.

This course focuses on project planning and building the control panel but assumes you understand many of the basics of industrial electricity. You can learn these in the Industrial Control Wiring, AC Drives, and 3 Phase Motors.
